Damaris has two Masters Degrees in Medical statistics and in Public Health (MPH) - family health and she is currently undertaking a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Warwick. She has almost 10 years of experience working on malaria, malnutrition and HIV in children and developing space time geostatistical models in predicting variation in risk of disease infection. Her work currently focuses on space-time mapping of child malnutrition and predicting its comorbidity with malaria, diarrhoea and acute respiratory infection among children under the age of five years in Somalia. She has contributed to the development of coding for spatial analysis of data for the LINK project.
