Noel Joseph

Assistant Research Officer (Epidemiology and Statistics)

Noel has a BSc in Economics and Statistics (statistics major) from Laikipia University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Research Methods from Pwani University in collaboration with KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme. Noel is a statistician with a focus on health research. Previously, she worked as an intern at KEMRI under the IDEAL initiative on a project understanding the diagnostic performance of the various case definitions used to detect respiratory syncytial virus infections among paediatric admissions in Kilifi County Hospital. In March 2017, Noel joined the programme in Nairobi as an Assistant Research Officer - Epidemiology and Statistics. She is working on the assembly and analysis of cluster level data from multiple surveys to understand the mechanisms underlying variability of child mortality at the county level in Kenya and will provide support to work in other countries under the LINK project.
