Mozambique dissemination meeting takes place

LINK met with the Programa Nacional de Controlo da Malária (PNCM) at the Ministério da Saúde on 21 August for the final dissemination meeting. The meeting was well-attended with approximately 20 participants from a variety of organisations including the MISAU, PNCM, Malaria Consortium, Clinton Health Access Organisation (CHAI), CISM  and Transforming Intermittent Preventive Treatment for Optimal Pregnancy (TIPTOP) / JPIEGO. 

The meeting involved a presentation about the modelling training given by KEMRI-Wellcome Trust in June. This covered  malaria prevalence maps  created using  the  2015  IMASIDA  data.

LINK delivered the timeline and held a discussion on the presentation, modelled data and routine data, and the differences between the new and previous mapping methods. There were questions about the future plans to update maps once the results of the 2018 MIS are available.
