Social and Psychological Impact of Limited Access to Sanitation: MHM and Reproductive Tract Infections
This paper was produced for the 38th WEDC Conference held in Loughborough in July 2015. It summarises the findings of a study SHARE co-funded with the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council that investigated the social and psychological impact of limited access to sanitation, the link between menstrual hygiene practices and reproductive tract infections, and between WASH practices and pregnancy outcomes in Odisha.
