Study to Review the Current Human Resource Capacity and Costs of Scaling up Sanitation and Hygiene in Tanzania
This report summarises the findings of a study commissioned to lay the foundations for a NCSH in Tanzania. A collaboration between the MoHSW, WaterAid, UNICEF, SHARE, the Global Sanitation Fund et al, it assessed both the human resource capacity (in the Government, private sector and NGOs) and financing required for establishing and delivering a national sanitation programme in Tanzania. The study was comprised of a literature review and findings from surveys and interviews with a range of actors.
