Talking Behaviour Change

9 Oct 2015

During the last week of September 2015, LSHTM held its Annual Symposium, a week-long event that features some of the pioneering research its staff and students are undertaking. As part of this Symposium, SHARE co-hosted a one-day Creativity in Behaviour Change learning, sharing and creating session with the Hygiene Centre

Almost every public health problem requires a change in behaviour. Sanitation and hygiene are no exception. Designing innovative toilets is no good if people will not use them.

As such, on 23rd September, more than 180 staff, students, and NGO, donor and Government representatives, turned out to hear from global experts and think critically and creatively about questions including: What determines behaviour? How can we change it? Why do we need to and how can we do it creatively?

BUILDING KNOWLEDGE. IMPROVING THE WASH SECTOR.

SHARE contributes to achieving universal access to effective, sustainable and equitable sanitation and hygiene by generating evidence to improve policy and practice worldwide.
