Joanna Esteves Mills

Joanna Esteves Mills is SHARE's Chief Executive Officer. She oversees management of all aspects of the consortium and makes sure that it delivers to DFID. 

Joanna has solid experience of working with national governments and international donors on policy issues, including those relating to water, sanitation and public health, and has published in this area. Before joining the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Joanna worked in the Policy Team of WaterAid UK, and as a Researcher for WaterAid in Mozambique. She has worked in several organisations in a research and policy capacity, including ActionAid Brazil, the Rio-based Institute for More Democracy and Refugee Action. 

Joanna holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA (Joint Hons) in History and French from the University of Manchester.
