About

Following the success of the Mali study, SHARE funded a small intervention study in rural Matlab, Bangladesh, to investigate whether the intervention could be replicated in a different setting and would be effective in reducing weaning food contamination. The same protocol was adopted and implemented allowing for different local foods. The results showed that the hygiene intervention significantly reduced food contamination.
