This paper by Islam et al. (2013) published in Tropical Medicine and International Health summarises the findings of a small, SHARE-funded intervention study that sought to reduce the contamination of weaning foods in Bangladesh by using the HACCP approach. The intervention was successful as it significantly reduced weaning food contamination, and the food hygiene behaviours in question were being maintained by mothers at follow up.
